Dead man found in Riverview community: An investigation is underway after police found a dead body of a man in Riverview on Saturday morning in the area of Coconut Island Drive and Symmes Road. Enjoy delicious meats at this fest: BBQ Love Fest is coming to Tampa on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Perry Harvey Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be 20 barbeque teams competing at the gathering. New sandwich shop coming to FishHawk area: The Sandwich Shop of Lithia LLC is coming to Lithia at 10421 S County Rd 39, according to What Now Tampa. The business is opening now far from south Hillsborough County’s FishHawk community. No opening date is available as of Saturday afternoon. (whatnowtampa.com)
Affordable housing complex opens in St. Pete: An affordable housing complex with 60 units has opened in South St. Petersburg's Jordan Park. The complex will serve senior citizens ages 62 and older and comes amid an affordable housing crisis in Tampa Bay and rising homelessness. The complex is expected to hit capacity the end of October.
