USF expands AI program for students with business lab: The University of South Florida (USF) is expanding its artificial intelligence program with a new business lab at the Muma College of Business. Dr. Rob Hammond is overseeing the new lab. Hammond hopes the lab will help give students and edge and expand other programs in the AI space. (wtsp.com)
Bucs QB Mayfield and LT Wirfs added to 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and left tackle Tristan Wirfs have been added to the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games, according to the NFL. Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans was included in the initial announcement, but will not play due to injury. The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will take place from Feb. 1 to Feb. 4 in Orlando, Florida. The games will be broadcasted on ESPN, ABC, Disney XD, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes and NFL+. (buccaneers.com)
Rep. Susan Valdés joins child labor reform push in Florida: Florida Rep. Susan Valdés (D-Tampa) is joining a group of lawmakers supporting reforms to child labor laws that activists say would be detrimental to the health of children and potentially put minors in risky work situations.
