Altruistic Academy partners with Ericka Dunlap for Glitz & Glam Safari 6/20:
Altruistic Beauty Academy is hosting a special event, The Glitz and Glam Safari, in Clearwater with former Miss America Ericka Dunlap on Thursday, June 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1253 Park St. VIP attendees are invited to enjoy photo opportunities as well as talk with Florida's 2004 Miss America at the free event. Guests can also enjoy skin care and a beauty gift bag from the school.
There will also be food trucks, a live DJ, door prizes, refreshments and more. There will be discounted facials and other perks and interested students can complete a passport at the event to waive application fees for the school and get more information about programs.
Altruistic Beauty Academy was founded by Christina Sisler, CEO and Registered Nurse (RN). Sisler has served as an RN since 2017 and previously worked for DaVita in kidney care. She has long had a passion for the beauty field and education. Over the years Sisler noticed a need for hybrid programs in the area and started looking up statistics and graduation information.
Ericka Dunlap has worked in the beauty field for most of her life and loves to give back. Sisler believes the bond between the two entrepreneurs is driven by their values and passion for community. The beauty school was also recently featured on WFTS for its partnership with Mr. India (abcactionnews.com).
