Indie Flea hosting market this weekend in Ybor City: Indie Flea Market is returning to Ybor City at 1920 Ybor at 1920 E 7th Ave. on Sunday, Feb. 11 from noon to 4 p.m.. The family-friendly market will have plenty of vendors to enjoy. Visitors to the market can buy pastries, vintage items, coffee, tea and more from local businesses. Parisian cafe concept looking to open a location in Tampa Bay: Houston-based Parisian cafe chain Sweet Paris is looking to potentially open a location in Tampa Bay, according to Business Observer. The brand sells dessert foods and drinks as well as salads and lunch items. The concept plans to open at least 15 stores in the South over the next 8 years and one store in 2024. Florida State Fair returns to Tampa through Feb. 19: The 2024 Florida State Fair is now underway through Feb. 19 at 4800 US Highway 301. Gates are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Friday to Sunday as well as President's Day. Armbands for unlimited rides are available starting at $22. There will be plenty of corn dogs, funnel cakes, and other fair foods to enjoy. (wfla.com)
TECO Family BBQ Cook-off happening Feb. 22 in Riverview: The TECO Family BBQ Cook-off charity event is being held on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the International Independent Showmen's Association at 6915 Riverview Drive. in Riverview. Tickets are $15 for those ages 11 and older and free for those younger. Proceeds will benefit Girls of the World Inc. and Pasco Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation (PAIR). (ospreyobserver.com)
