Publix releases limited-time ice cream flavors for the spring: Lakeland-based Publix has released 8 new ice cream flavors for a limited time at grocery stores. Flavors include Bananas Foster, Irish Crème Salted Caramel, New Orleans Caramel Praline, Peanut Butter Pie, Strawberry Shortcake and more. Local author features lesser-known Black people in history throughout 10 books: Matthew Hale is a local book author from Tampa with 10 books in a "Black Historical Figures” series that features lesser-known Black inventors, athletes, and more throughout history. Netflix adding new fee to subscribers in Florida after new fee passed: Netflix is adding a new charge to subscribers in Florida starting mid-February. The fee is part of a new "state service tax" imposed by the Florida legislature.
