Florida man climbs cell phone tower in Hillsborough County: A Florida man has been arrested after climbing a cell phone tower in Hillsborough County over the weekend, according to police. The incident happened at around the 13000 block of Rhodine Road on Saturday evening. The suspect was charged with trespassing by police and has bonded out. (clickorlando.com)
1 measles case detected in Central Florida as disease spreads in state: Local doctors are drawing attention to information on measles as the disease spreads throughout Florida. Multiple cases have been reported in Broward County and recently 1 case was found in Polk County. Officials said the person infected is between 20 and 24 years old and the case was detected one week ago. Infection can be dangerous for those unvaccinated, children, and for pregnant women and cause “premature birth or low birth weight.” Rare conditions for those infected can include pneumonia and swelling of the brain. The World Oddities Expo is coming to Tampa Convention Center on Saturday, March 2 at 333 S Franklin St. Tickets are now available online to attend the event.
